Privacy policy

Plain-language facts about the data this site handles.

In short

  • Betting Newsroom is a static website: no accounts, no comments, no forms except the on-site search.
  • We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising or tracking services.
  • The pages load nothing from other companies’ servers — fonts and images are served from this site.

Server logs

When your browser requests a page, the hosting web server logs the IP address, user agent, requested URL and time. We use these logs only for security and troubleshooting; they are kept for a limited period.

Search

Searching happens entirely in your browser: the site downloads a list of articles and filters it on your device. Your search terms are part of the page address and therefore appear in the server logs described above.

Your privacy choices

The choice you make in the privacy settings dialog is stored in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. It is never sent to us. See our cookie policy.

E-mail

Messages sent to contact@bettingnewsroom.com are used solely to deal with your enquiry. We never sign you up for anything and never pass your details to others.

We keep correspondence only as long as we need it to handle your request.

Links to other websites

Articles link to sources and other websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your requests

You can ask what correspondence we hold from you, or ask us to delete it, by writing to contact@bettingnewsroom.com.

Children

Betting Newsroom is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly receive personal data from children.

Changes

If what we collect ever changes — for example if an optional service is added — this page will be updated first, and optional services will only run with your consent.
